Alyssia and Robert’s Engagement Portraits in Los Gatos
Out of all of the places I take pictures at, Vasona Park is probably the place I visit the most! It is a great venue for engagement portraits in Los Gatos – because of the various backgrounds you can use for the session. It features train tracks, trees and green grass, water, and a cool bridge. We used all of these areas for their session 🙂
Take a Break From Wedding Planning
Engagement portraits are really fun and a great way to take a break from wedding planning. As your Photographer, it is an opportunity to get to know you better; and you’ll also have a chance to see how I pose and work with you – before the big day. I try to keep all of my sessions fun and relaxed and just focus on the interactions of my couples. Walking, holding hands, making jokes, and an occasional hip-bump help me to create natural and unposed images. A + R were very easy to work with because they were all smiles from the very start of the session. Getting them to pose was really easy because I could just feel how much in love they were with each other.
The best images come when you are having fun. For your session, I’ll have several poses for us to work out of – but I always like to get ideas from my couples. Make sure to wear something that you feel comfortable sitting, walking, and possibly something that you feel comfortable getting a piggyback ride in 🙂 Alyssia and Robert actually suggested this and they pulled it off perfectly.
If you are engaged, planning on getting engaged, and want to take some fun engagement portraits – I’d LOVE to hear from you. The best way to reach out to me is through the contact form on my website. Thanks!
