Engagement Photos in Los Gatos
Engagement photos are great for a lot of reasons. One – you get the opportunity to work with your wedding Photographer before your wedding day. But second and most important, you get to take a break from wedding planning and enjoy this special time in your lives. Engagement photos are a chance to have fun, take a walk in the park and take your mind off of your wedding to-do list. Here are some fun, cute images from Erica and Adam’s engagement portrait session.
Casual or Formal?
Your engagement session can be as casual or as formal as you want to make it. The session will last around 90 minutes and so this is enough time for you to change outfits part way through the session. You’ll want to wear something that you feel comfortable walking, sitting, and standing in. If you plan on wearing heels, you’ll want to bring a comfortable pair of shoes to walk from place to place in 😉 Erica and Adam chose to wear jeans and a white shirt and I think it turned out perfect.
We Will Include Some of Your Poses
Before I end any session, I will always make a point to ask if there are any poses or ideas that I did not cover. This is important because it is YOUR session and I want to make sure we incorporate any poses or ideas that you have. Just don’t go overboard! There is a whole “thing” called Pinterest Fails and I’d like to remain off of this list 🙂
Erica loves when Adam puts his hands close to her face and brings her close. And this was the one pose that she really wanted to capture! If you do not have any specific poses or ideas, I’ll have enough poses for us to go through for the 90 minutes 🙂
I had a lot of fun working with Eric and Adam and cannot wait for their wedding later on in the year! If you are engaged and looking for a Photographer, I’d love to meet with you and go over how I approach wedding photography. The best way to reach out to me is through the contact form on my website. Thanks!
