Three Tips For A Stress Free Wedding Day

Desi & Nick had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Seeker Vineyards. For any couples thinking about wedding photography in San Martin, Seeker Vineyards is a great venue to check out. Here are some of the images we captured of Desi & Nick’s special day and three ideas on how to create a stress free wedding day.wedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martin

Have Everything at One Location

The thing that I loved about photographing Desi & Nick’s wedding was the laid back feel that the wedding had. Nothing was rushed, and the day progressed pretty seamlessly. One of the reasons for this was that their getting ready photos, ceremony, and reception were all at the same location. When planning your wedding, having the ceremony and reception close by creates an atmosphere that is not rushed and nearly stress free!wedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martin

Take Some or All Family Portraits Before the Ceremony

One of the best things that you can do to create a stress free wedding day is to take some or all of the formal wedding pictures before the ceremony. Having a “first-look” is a great idea to be able to accomplish this. By seeing each other before the start of the ceremony, you can take the majority of the family portraits before the ceremony. If you choose to not see each other before the ceremony, you can still take some of the formal pictures – but keep in mind that you will only have about an hour to take all of the other posed pictures. This includes pictures of you and your partner.

Pro TIP: check what time the sun is setting on the day of your wedding and try to take some of your pictures at this time. If you are not able to fit in all of the pictures after the ceremony, this is another option to consider 😉

Engagement Portraits & Meeting Before The Wedding

Last but not least, scheduling engagement pictures and meeting with your Photographer is one of the best things that you can do. Both of these things give you the opportunity to know each other and to be on the same page. On the day of the wedding, having established a connection with your Photographer will make everything go that much more smoothly. I typically meet with my couples two weeks before the wedding day. We go over their wedding timeline and a wedding questionnaire that helps me understand everything that will be going on.wedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martinwedding photography in San Martin
