Holiday Portraits in Los Gatos | Joanna
The months of November and December are the busiest months of the year for family portraits. Family members are all coming in town for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. Everyone is trying to send out Holiday cards to their friends and family. It is just really busy 🙂 Here are some of the Holiday portraits in Los Gatos of Joanna and her family at Vasona Park. As well as three tips for scheduling Holiday Portraits.
Schedule Your Portraits In Advance
Perhaps the biggest tip that I can give for scheduling Holiday portraits is to schedule your session in advance. Do not wait until the last minute! Being that November and December are the busiest two months of the year, you will want to touch bases with your Photographer ahead of time to ensure that you get on their calendar. During the Holiday’s it is typical for me to have 8-12 sessions each weekend!
Show Up Early
Another great tip for Holiday portraits is to make sure that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes early. If it is your first time at the session location, give yourself enough time to park and walk to the meeting spot. Typically, I will schedule sessions at least 30 minutes apart; however, during the Holiday’s I may only have enough time to schedule sessions just 15 minutes apart. If clients are late, I will not be able to extend the session beyond the end time.
Let Your Photographer Know If You Need Your Images Soon
During the Holiday’s, Photographers have a lot of images to get through and to edit. The delivery time of your images may take a few extra days. If you need your images back to you in a certain time frame, make sure you let your Photographer know.
