Getting Ready Photos

Stephanie got ready at the beautiful Hotel Zelos in Downtown San Francisco. It was convenient because it was only about 15 minutes from City Hall 🙂 When capturing getting ready photos, I do as much as possible to blend into the background.

Stephanie & Brandon’s First Look

More and more couples are choosing to do first looks. This is a moment between couples, before the ceremony, where you get to see each other for the first time. It helps couples ease some of the nerves before the ceremony. And it is also helpful for weddings that have a tight timeline. If couples choose to see each other before the wedding ceremony, a good chunk of the family and bridal party portraits can be taken before the start of the ceremony. This ultimately saves you time because you do not have to cram all of these photos in the one hour between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception 😉

Ceremony

One of the things to consider with San Francisco City Hall wedding photography is that there are a few different options for your ceremony. Most of the ceremony’s take place in the same general area. But there are other options to have your ceremony in a different area with your own Officiant.

Couples Portraits

Another great thing about the San Francisco City Hall is that there are a lot of great places for couple’s portraits. On the day of Stephanie & Brandon’s wedding, we had planned to take a lot more pictures outdoors. It ended up being SUPER windy and cold and so we took the majority of them inside of the City Hall. We were still able to get a handful of images at Baker Beach – despite the weather 🙂
