Make Sure To Bring Some Ideas

One of the things I really like to do is to get ideas from my clients. In my experience, many people are bashful and do not want to mention the ideas they have; and when I ask them, they have an entire Pinterest board of ideas 🙂 So I just made a point to solicit ideas from my clients! Sometimes I get some really cute ideas that I use for other clients. But incorporating clients ideas is always a good way to make the session special for the happy couple.
One of my favorite ideas that I got from Becca was in the below picture. I LOVE Becca’s expression and it is a great pose!

When you look at your portraits, I want you to be able to see genuine expressions of your love for each other. The majority of the images I like to capture are images of you and your partner interacting. We will definitely get photos where you both are looking right at the camera. However, my favorite images are those that feel natural and unposed.

Scheduling happy couple portraits can be something that you schedule around an anniversary. But they can also be “just because.” The one thing that I do not recommend is putting too much time in between portraits.
