In that time, you do not want them focusing on your outfit. They should look right at your expression in the headshot and get an idea of who you are. Choosing a solid color like blue, grey, or white is a great place to start. Also keep in mind that certain colors give off different emotions. For example, the color red gives off a very strong and passionate emotion. This may or may not be something that you want to portray in your headshot.
