Party Venues In Los Gatos | The Toll House Hotel

If you have never been to the Toll House Hotel, it is really easy to miss. It is at the end of the Downtown area of Los Gatos and you’d never really notice it unless you were there for an event. Over the last several months, I have had the opportunity to photograph events at the Toll House and I can tell you that it is one of the best party venues in Los Gatos! Here are some images from a surprise 70th birthday party – taken at the Toll House. As well as three reasons why it is among my top party venues in Los Gatos.

Great Light In The Evening

One of the most important aspects of a venue is how well it photographs. This mostly has to do with the lighting and ambiance of the location. About two hours before the sun sets, the lighting is PERFECT! The height of the hotel blocks the sun and it creates even and very flattering light. It almost seams as if the hotel was built with this in mind. Not only is this great for photographs, it creates a really comfortable environment for guests.

Plenty Of Room For Large Events

Another really great feature of the Toll House is it’s ability to accomodate any size party. The party that I was there to photographed had about 150 people. And it could have easily held at least 50-75 more people. I have also photographed smaller parties there. In this situation, they wall off a portion of the outdoor area with beautiful flower barriers.

The Food Is Great

Last, but not least, the food selection is really great. They have a dedicated staff to tend the bar and to serve food to guests; and the food selection is excellent. I have seen a few different food selections which have included Mexican style food, standard fish and chicken spreads, and a lunch buffet for corporate meetings. And I am sure there are plenty of other options available.
