This was my first event that I have shot at Il Fornaio in Santa Clara and I must say that I REALLY liked it! The space is perfect for parties of about 50 guests. And the lighting is almost perfect. The Lighting Is Great At Any Time Of The Day

First and foremost, one of the best features of Il Fornaio Santa Clara is the lighting. Even in the middle of the afternoon, the lighting on the outside patio is PERFECT! During the middle of the day, this is pretty rare 🙂 With great lighting, you can capture really great moments with no limitations.

There Is Plenty Of Space For Parties Of Around 50 Or Less People

Another really great aspect of Il Fornaio Santa Clara is that there is plenty of space. This is not only great for your guests – but it is also good for Photographers. As much as possible, I like to remain in the background without being noticed by guests. I find that the best images come when people do not realize that they are being taken. With more space, I can be further away and capture moments as they happen naturally.

You Can Decorate The Space To Fit Your Party

Last but not least, event photography at Il Fornaio Santa Clara is great because you can really decorate the space. I really love how the party was decorated for Hudson’s birthday. The green backdrop with Hudson’s name ended up being the perfect backdrop for group portraits!
