Getting through your child’s 1st year is an accomplishment! An accomplishment worth celebrating 🙂 Although you child may not appreciate it in the moment – the images from their first birthday are something you can share with them when they get a little older. It’s All About The Decorations!

Of course, a party would not be a party without GREAT decorations! Although it may take a little planning, thinking of a theme and decorations is really important 🙂 I have been to quite a bit of parties and Luna’s 1st birthday was really impressive!

Children And Adults LOVE Sweets. Bake Your Own Or Find A Local Vendor

I think it goes without saying that the food and sweets are also really important. I personally really love sweets! Way more than I do any other food; and in that sense I guess I am more like a kid 🙂 With a little less energy and not quite the imagination – but a kid in spirit nonetheless! Luna’s 1st birthday party had quite the spread of sweets. And I definitely taste tested 3 or 4 of them 🙂

What I found the most impressive was that they were all hand made! The cupcakes, brownies, and all of the packaging were made by hand. Getting pictures of all of the things that you spend time and money on is really important. I like getting pictures of all of these items before guests arrive and also of your guests enjoying them 🙂

Plan Games That Adults And Children Will Enjoy

Last but not least, having fun games to play is a great idea for kids and adults. One way to really get people interested is to award a prize to the winners 🙂 You do not need to tell them what the prize is. Just the thought of winning a prize alone will get many of your guests interested in participating.
