Corporate Event Photography In San Jose | dSPACE
One of the leaders in driver-less car technology, dSPACE, celebrated the opening of their brand new office in San Jose, CA. Their CEO Martin Goetzeler was their to meet with clients and demonstrate some of it’s technology. Here are some of the event photography pictures from the event as well as three tips to consider when planning corporate event photography in San Jose 🙂
Consider Give-Aways And/or Raffles
One of the best ways to throw a great event is to have give-aways or a raffle. Placing give away items at the front of the event is good – so that people can grab them on the way in or on their way out. dSPACE had a bunch of great swag! They had really nice USBs – which I made sure to grab on the way out :). And they also had chocolates, flash lights, and coffee mugs with their company name. These items are great because it serves as a reminder of your company. Having a practical item, like a USB, is something that most anyone can use and will keep your company at the front of people’s mind.
Horderves and Cocktails Rather Than A Buffet
For small events, having horderves and cocktails is also a great idea. It allows people to grab food and carry it with them as they chat. In my experience, having small food items that guests can hold on a napkin or a small paper plate is a little easier than foods that require glass plates and silverware. Having an open bar is also a great addition to a party. dSPACE hired a small catering company and had Mixologists tending the bar 🙂
Name Tags Help With Mingeling
Last but not least, I also recommend having guests wear name tags. If you have ever been to a networking event – where you do not know many people, having name badges helps people “break the ice.” If you have a list of people who have RSVPd, you can create these beforehand. Otherwise, guests can fill them in as they come in.
And of course, your party is not official unless you have a bunch of great pictures to post online. I recommend hiring an Event Photographer to cover the event – so that everyone can enjoy the event and not have to take pictures with their phones 🙂 If you are planning an event and need corporate event photography in San Jose – I would love to connect. Thanks!
