Basketball Portraits In San Jose | Valley Christian High School Girl’s Basketball

Outside of photography, one of the things I also do is coach high school girl’s basketball at Valley Christian High School. I enjoy working with the girl’s and it keeps me in the loop on what is cool with 13-18 year olders 🙂 One of the things I have come to learn is that they LOVE pictures! Here are some of the pictures of the basketball portraits in San Jose of the team. As well as three things you can use basketball portraits for.

Perhaps the single most important reason for basketball portraits is for social media! The images can be used for the school and by the individual players. They are great to announce the time and location of games. And you can use them for many other different purposes. For example, posting on a player’s birthday. If your high school has an athletics website – this is also a great use.

Senior Night

Another great use for the portraits are for senior night. On these days, the school and family of the Senior athletes come together to celebrate their final home game. Using some of these images for framed prints or banners is a great way to celebrate.

Last but not least, the images can also be used for presents. Since basketball season goes from November – March, it is the perfect Holiday gift. Athletes can gift a customized shirt to their parents. And parents can use the images for gifts for other family members as well 😉
