Graduation Portraits In San Jose

Aniessa’s Graduation Portraits in San Jose

Graduating college is a BIG accomplishment! An accomplishment that should be celebrated 🙂 And one of the first ways to celebrate this accomplishment is by taking graduation portraits. Here are some of the graduation portraits in San Jose – from Aniessa’s session. As well as three recommendation to consider when scheduling your session.

Schedule Your Session Several Weeks Before Your Graduation Party

One of the first things to consider, when taking graduation portraits, is when to schedule them. If you are planning to have a celebration, I recommend scheduling the session at least 3-4 weeks before the party. By doing this, you will have enough time to get your images back. The images from your session can be used to send out invitations and to decorate the party with.

Bring Your Cap, Gown, and Sash

When you are planning your session, make sure to plan on what you are going to wear. I recommend getting a variety of different outfits for the session. Some of the images will be taken in the full cap, gown, and sash. And some of the images will be taken in just your main outfit. If there are any extracurricular activities you were involved in, I recommend bringing something that recognizes this. For example, a basketball – if you played a sport while in college.

30 Minutes May Be Enough Time

Lastly, if you are planning on just a handful of images – 30 minutes is the perfect amount of time. In this amount of time, I typically deliver between 25-50 images. If you are planning on changing into multiple outfits, a 60 minute session may be best.
