One of the biggest affects of the Covid-19 pandemic has been seen in the job market. MANY people have changed jobs. And there are a lot of companies with new employees. One of the best things you can do when there are a bunch of new employees is to make sure that everyone has a professional headshot 🙂 Headshots display a high level of professionalism. Uniformity Is Important

One of the most important things to consider when scheduling headshots is uniformity. Ideally, all of your headshots should look the same. If you have some headshots that were taken with a cell phone; some headshots that were taken outdoors; and others that were taken indoors with various different backgrounds – this is a sign that a round of new headshots should be taken! I like shooting headshots on a white background because it is clean, and easily repeatable. In the case that there are employees who cannot make the initial headshot session, this look is easy to repeat. Having all of your headshots with the same background shows uniformity.

Each Headshot Only Takes A Few Minutes

If you have a large number of employees, the great thing to consider is that each headshot will only take a few minutes. As long as all of the employees are on time, up to 20 people can be scheduled in a little more than an hour. Scheduling headshots on a day when a lot of employees are in the office for a meeting, for example, is a good idea.

Make Sure To Communicate Any Requirements Or Deadlines

Another important thing to consider is to communicate any specific requirements to your Photographer. Each Photographer shoots and edits headshots differently. And this may not be exactly in line with how your company wants them to look like. For example, how the images are cropped or the direction that each person should be facing. Providing any and all requirements to the Photographer beforehand will make sure everyone is on the same page.
