Small Business Branding Portraits In Campbell

Small Business Branding Portraits in Campbell – Striking the perfect pose for your small business branding session

If you have a small business, one of the best investments that you can make is professional portraits. A professional website paired with great images can make a huge difference. These days, people like to see who they are working with beforehand. So striking the appropriate pose is key. Here are some recent small business branding portraits in Campbell. As well as a few tips on striking the right pose 🙂

Studio Portraits vs Outdoor Portaits

One of the first things to consider is where you want to take the portraits. Studio portraits are more controlled and are great for headshots or images with a specific color in mind. Branding portraits with a white background, for example, are easily editable to include text and to plug into different marketing material. I recommend studio portraits for branding portraits that are more “dressy.” Outdoor portraits are a little more dynamic than indoor portraits, as the background helps to tell your story. Being in nature can also give more of a laid back feel to images taken outdoors.

Choosing Your Outfit

Choosing your outfit for your small business branding portraits is also very important. For portraits, taken outdoors, I recommend more of a casual outfit. Jeans and a polo shirt (without a tie) can work really well. The outdoor setting, paired with casual attire gives a confident and approachable feel to them.

Taking a Variety of Different Poses

Lastly, I recommend getting a variety of different poses. Chances are, you may not use every single image. However, it is always best to take a variety of different poses. For example, a few different backgrounds; some images sitting or leaning against something; and different poses with varying hand positions. Mixing in poses where you are moving vs stationary. As well as candid images vs images where you are looking directly into the camera can go a long way.

Hopefully this brief blog post from my recent small business branding portraits in Campbell have been helpful. Thanks!
