The Importance of Family Portraits
One of the things that I have grown to understand is that family portraits are priceless. As cliche as it sounds, it is true… when you have pivotal moments in your life, what is the first thing that you do? You look for pictures, right? Most people have hundreds of pictures on their phones – which is great. But iPhone pictures just do not compare to the fun and candid moments that you can capture from a professional photography session.

The Value of Photography is Realized
Like many things in life, the real value of photography is often overlooked in “real time,” – but holds tremendous value in the future. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is very easy to prioritize other things and put photography at the bottom of your to-do list. The important thing to realize, in terms of photography, is that life changes quick. Family dynamics change, people move away, kids get older and transform from toddlers to teenagers to adults; and before you even realize it, you’ve missed many opportunities to celebrate and document these special moments. I’m guilty of it – as many-many people are also.
