Fun & Candid Family Portraits in Los Gatos | Johnny
I think the best types of family portraits are those that are fun, candid, and that feel unposed. I prefer these types of images over images that are overly posed – especially when working with children. Here are some of the fun and candid family portraits in Los Gatos (Vasona Park) of Johnny and his family.
The Importance of Capturing A Child’s Personality
This was the second time that I have had the opportunity to work with Johnny and his family. I really enjoyed how much fun his family was and how they interact with so much happiness. One of the things that I understand about photography is that it is one of those things that grows in value as time goes on. When your children get older – even just a few years older, it is really cool to look back on some of the images of them. Capturing their personality in the images is really important; and this is why I like more candid and unposed photos of children.
There is going to come a time when your baby girl will be too big to toss in the air or pick up. And tickling them and giving them kisses on the cheeks will not be allowed! So capturing these moments is really important.
How Often Should You Schedule Family Portraits?
Of course, I think you should schedule family portraits as often as possible 🙂 But my typical client schedules family portraits once a year. One thing to really consider is that you do not just have to schedule “portraits.” Event photography for events like birthday parties, baby showers, engagement parties are all photo worthy events! As working and busy adults, it is easy to put off scheduling family portraits and photography for life’s events. But I can guarantee you that it it something that you will not regret, when you look back at the priceless images in the future.
If you are looking for family portraits, I would LOVE to connect with you. The best way to reach me is by shooting me a quick email ([email protected]) or through the contact form on my website. Thanks!
