Well, first and foremost – she said “YES.” Now that the hard part is out of the way, here are some of the images from Kevin’s engagement proposal in Santa Cruz 🙂

One of the first things that I like to know is how they are going to get their partner to the location, without them knowing! In Kevin’s case, he let his fiance know that they were meeting there for his brother’s proposal to his partner! GENIUS! This explained the Photographer (Me) being there to take pictures. Kevin let his fiance know that they were a little early – and she did not suspect a thing :)After they took a look around, he popped the question – and she said “YES.”

A Perfect Setting

The area in Santa Cruz that Kevin chose was on the cliffs near Panther Beach. It is the perfect setting because the cliffs overlook some really beautiful rocks and the water is right below. As long as you are not too afraid of heights, it is a great location. Not too many people were around and everything turned out perfect!

Couples Portraits Afterwards

After the hard part was out of the way, we spent about 30 minutes getting some portraits of Kevin and his fiance. Panther Beach was just walking distance from the cliffs and we were able to get some shots as we walked there.

On the beach, there were not too many people and we were able to get some casual shots walking on the beach. And we were also able to use Panther Beach’s signature rocks in a lot of the images 🙂
