Maternity Photos At Stanford University | Ashika
Stanford University is one of my favorite places to take maternity portraits. It has a completely different feel than a park or the beach; and there are a lot of great places around campus for portraits. Here are some of the maternity photos at Stanford University, of Ashika. As well as my favorite three things about shooting maternity portraits at Stanford.
The Architecture Is Great For Framing
One of the things that I really like about taking maternity portraits at Stanford is the architecture. These kinds of images are much different than the types of images you’d capture at a park. Or even a location like a beach. The architecture creates images where the subjects are framed within the image – which adds a sense of appeal. There are unlimited hallways and doorways that can be used for framing couples.
Colorful Flowers, Plants, and Trees
Another great feature about taking maternity photos at Stanford University is that there are a ton of flowers, plants, and trees. This makes for backgrounds that are really pretty for portraits. For Ashika’s portraits, there were these really beautiful orange flowers that went well with her dress. We were able to use some of her props and other poses with these flowers in the background.
Yellow Goes With Just About Any Color Outfit
Last, but not least, the colors at Stanford University are BEAUTIFUL! The gold and yellow colors of the buildings are colors you will not see anywhere else in the Bay Area. And the great thing about yellow is that it goes well with almost any color outfit you can choose! Ashika chose to wear a red dress – which is a really strong color. I really like the look of the color combination of yellow and red.
