Fun Family Pictures At Martial Cottle Park

Fun Family Pictures At Martial Cottle Park In San Jose | Bethany

My main goal for family portraits are to capture you and your family candidly. Especially when working with children, you want to make sure everyone is having fun! Here are some of the fun family pictures at Martial Cottle Park of Bethany and her family. As well as four areas at Martial Cottle that I like to pose for pictures.

I Love Using The Wooden Fences For Posing Families

One of my favorite things to use for posing families is the fences. There are several areas where we can do this – but I especially love having the oak trees in the background. I have come to find that children really love standing and/or sitting on the fences. I like getting pictures of the entire family and of the children individually with the fences.

The Playground Area Is Fun For Kids

Perhaps the funnest area at Martial Cottle Park is the playground area. Kids really love taking pictures here. And it is the perfect place for individual portraits of the kids. There is a really nice tractor, farm animals, and other structures we can pose everyone in. I recommend getting these poses towards the middle or end of the session. Once the children start playing in this area, it is hard to pull them away! The good thing about this area is that it is pretty easy to capture fun and candid images. As long as Mom and Dad are OK with it, we can also get some shots jumping off of some of the structures.

Walking Shots On The Brown Bridge

Another really cool place for portraits is the brown bridge. Walking and holding hands as everyone walks is one of my favorite ways to get candid images. It gives the “walk in the park” look to your images 🙂 If there are children that are old enough to run or skip – I find these to be really cute images!

There Are Lots of Plants, Trees, And Green Grass All Over The Park

Last but not least, there are a lot of areas that have plants, trees, and green grass. There are even rocks that children really like to pose on.
