I recently had the opportunity to shoot a first birthday party in Saratoga. Here are some of the images we captured. As well as three reasons why the Saratoga Foothill Club is the best venue for event photography in Saratoga.

There Is A Lot of Space

One of the things that makes the Saratoga Foothill Club great is that there is a lot of space. This comes into factor is you are planning a large party. But it is also great for the Photographer covering the event. In most cases, I like to remain in the background. This allows me to capture really candid moments without being noticed. I find that the best images are captured when people are not focused on the person taking the pictures. By having space to move around, this allows me to be constantly on the move taking pictures.

There Are Great Places For Formal/Family Portraits

Another great feature of the Saratoga Foothill Club is that there are great places for formal pictures. Many venues do not have places that photograph well for these types of images. However, there was an excellent place outside. It had great lighting and a really nice background for the portraits 🙂 I recommend scheduling some of these portraits before the start of the party. And we can also take posed pictures during the party. For example, pictures with guests after the cake cutting. With kids, it is best to schedule the pictures at a time when they have just woken up from their nap. If you wait until the end of the party, the child may be nearing their nap time and it may be difficult to get good pictures when they are tired.

Lastly, the Saratoga Foothill club was really easy to get to. And there was also a large parking lot directly across the street from the venue.

If you are looking to schedule an event, the Saratoga Foothill Club is one of the best venues for event photography in Saratoga. There is a lot of space, there are great areas for posed pictures, and it is easy to access for your guests!
