Event Photography In Cupertino | Emily’s Sesame Street Themed 2nd Birthday

Birthday parties are a lot of fun for children, parents, and your guests. The planning of the party can be a little stressful and I recommend keeping things as simple as possible. There are many different venues for event photography in Cupertino – but sometimes having a party at your home is the best route to go. Here are some of the fun and candid images we captured of Emily’s Sesame Street Themed 2nd Birthday. As well as three tips to help you when planning your own party.

Pick A Fun Theme For The Party

One of the first things you will want to do is to pick a fun theme. Depending on the age of your child, this can be one of their favorite cartoon or TV shows. I really loved the Sesame Street theme that was chosen for Emily’s party! You can incorporate the theme in the various games that are played at the party – as well as decorations.

Have Things To Keep Kids Entertained – And Keep It Simple

One of the most important parts to planning a party is coming up with a few different stations to keep kids entertained. And this does not have to be more complicated than you may think. If you have children, you know that they can be entertained by the simplest things 🙂 Keeping this part of the planning simple – is the best way to go. For Emily’s party, they had fun stations from things that most people have around the house. For example, bubbles, chalk coloring on the sidewalk, and an area where the kids can jump on a trampoline, play in a ball pool, and go off of a toy slide. They also had a fun station, made out of a cardboard box, that all of the kids loved! If you are on a tight budget, there is no need to purchase things specifically for the party. Take inventory of the things you have around the house and you’ll be surprised to find that you have most of what is required!

Serve Food That Kids And Parents Can Both Enjoy

Another thing to consider is the food for the party. Again, keeping this simple is the best way to go. No need to have a gourmet spread that most kids won’t touch! A Carton of milk, water, and maybe some fruit juice will keep people refreshed. And simple foods like pizza work well for both kids and parents. If you are on a budget, ask some of your guests to help pitch in by bringing juice, milk, napkins, or other small items. Most people are more than willing to pitch in!

If you are planning a party, remember to pick a fun theme, find activities to keep kids entertained, and serve simple foods kids and parents can enjoy! Also, in Emily’s case – there were many different venues for event photography in Cupertino. Choosing to have the party at their home was a great option to help save money 😉 Thanks!
