Judy & Jesus’ Maternity Portraits At The Arizona Cactus Garden
If you are looking for a BEAUTIFUL location for your maternity portraits, the Arizona Cactus Garden in Palo Alto is one to consider! This was my first time taking portraits here and I really like the look and feel of the images 🙂 Here are some of my favorite images from Judy and Jesus’ maternity portraits at the Arizona Cactus Garden. As well as three things to consider when scheduling a session here.
It Is A Popular Place For Photography Sessions
One of the first things to consider about scheduling maternity portraits at the Arizona Cactus Garden is that it is popular. When I was there, there were three other Photographers taking pictures there as well. It is a beautiful place to take pictures and it may require working around other people who are also there to take pictures.
The Garden Is Small – So 30 Minutes Is Perfect
Another thing to consider is that the garden is relatively small. There are about 4 or 5 locations to take portraits at and so 30 minutes is the perfect amount of time for the session. If you are looking for a longer session, there is a wooded area right next tot he garden that would also make for really nice images. One thing to also consider is that there are not restrooms close by – if you were looking to change into another outfit.
The Evening Will Be The Best Time For Lighting
Lastly, I recommend scheduling the session in the evening. At this time of day, the lighting is soft and flattering which is ideal for maternity portraits! If this is your first time at the location, I also recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early. Parking is a little difficult to find and you will want to make sure you are on time for sessions in the evening. Once the sun goes down, taking pictures in the dark is not the best lighting 🙂
If you are looking for a really nice location, scheduling maternity portraits at the Arizona Cactus Garden is a great idea 🙂 Thanks!
