Fun Graduation Portraits at Santa Clara: Three Ideas To Make Your Graduation Portraits Fun and Unique
Graduating from college is a HUGE accomplishment! In between finishing up your final exams, moving out of your dorm, etc. โ make sure to schedule portraits to celebrate your accomplishment ๐ Here are some of the fun graduation portraits at Santa Clara I took of Ryba. As well as three ways to make your graduation portraits fun and unique!
More Candid Poses Than Overly โPosedโ Images
I believe portraits should be fun, candid, and feel unposed. In my experience, these are the types of images people tend to like most. And if you have never taken portraits before or you might be nervous, candid poses are a walk in the park ๐ Walking poses are great for these types of images. But I also like to keep the session conversational. I may also ask you a question that gets a natural reaction.
Include A Prop
Another way to make your graduation session fun and unique is by bringing a prop or two. Not everyone has a brand new Corvette โ but it can be something as simple as a book from one of your favorite classes. I encourage clients to bring anything that they may find significant to their time in college ๐
Invite a Friend or Significant Other To The Session
Last but not least, one of the best ways to make your graduation portraits fun and unique is by bringing a friend or significant other. They are more than welcome to be included in some of the pictures. But I also like to use them to capture candid moments. I love asking them questions about you โ such as a funny moment that you have together or a word that best describes you.
Hopefully these fun graduation portraits at Santa Clara have given you some ideas for your own session ๐ Thanks!
